HOW TO GUA SHA
Simply use the Gua Sha with a few drops of our facial oils to smoothly glide it along the curves of your face/body. Listen to your body and do the motions that feel good to you. We always recommend using it with our Bulan or Matahari facial oil for best results.
- Apply facial oil to your face, neck & chest area. This will help the Gua Sha tool glide smoothly over your skin without causing any irritation.
- Start at your chest and move upwards towards your neck to stimulate blood flow
- Next, use the heart shape side of your Gua Sha tool to scrape along your jawline in an upward motion towards your ears. Repeat this motion several times on each side of your face.
- Move up to your cheeks and use the Gua Sha tool to scrape in an upward and outward motion towards your ears. Repeat this motion several times on each side of your face.
- Next, move to the area around your eyes. With the pointy side of your Gua Sha, gently glide your Gua Sha in a circular motion around your eyes.
- For your forehead area, use the Gua Sha tool to gently scrape in an upward motion towards your hairline. Repeat this motion several times, moving slowly across your forehead.
- Lastly, drain by moving down from your neck towards your clavicle. Again, repeat this motion several times on each side of your face.
Remember to be gentle and listen to your body's feedback. You can repeat this routine daily or as often as you’d like, adjusting the pressure and speed of the scraping motion to your comfort level. Don't forget to clean your Gua Sha tool thoroughly after each use, and put it back into its pouch to keep it protected.
